G.O.L.F. = God Offers Love & Forgiveness! 
Of the approximately 94 million men in America whom are golf players, 68 million of them do not claim any relationship with Jesus Christ. These statistics may show that most of these men are on a golf course somewhere on Sunday mornings instead of attending worship services. As a local ministry, Quail Creek Ministries' goal is to offer the good news of the Gospel to these 68 million men, or at least to those within our reach. Our Chapel is located smack-dab in the middle of a wonderful golf resort and God has a purpose for our church in that respect.
First things first: Why does anyone need God? People are created by and for God. We have a "God shaped hole" in our being, that only He can fill. Since the first man, Adam, sinned by disobeying God's commandment, the descendants of Adam (all mankind) have been physically and spiritually separated from God. Well, just as strokes of golf count against you in the game, our sins count against us in the physical and spiritual realm of our being. God could have been indifferent and let mankind suffer the consequences. But God is NOT indifferent and offers forgiveness of all of our sins through the gift of his son, Jesus Christ. God found a way to pay a debt that we could never pay on our own, the debt of the price of mankind's sin. This gift to all mankind shows how much God loves creation and wants to restore the lost fellowship with people. Rejecting this gift, however, means an eternal separation from God.
How do I receive this gift of salvation? Its so simple...BELIEVE! Believe that Jesus Christ is God's son, and that he was crucified, dead, and buried in your place. Because he was without sin, God raised him from the dead on the third day and he ascended to heaven in a new "glorified" body. After the death of our physical bodies, our spirits will also get a new body like Jesus' and we will enjoy freedom from the penalty, power, and presence of sin, for all eternity!Jesus requests the honor of your presence in Heaven!
You can respond this moment... Simply share this prayer of faith with God in your own sincere words:
1. Heavenly Father and Almighty God, I admit to You that I have sinned.
(I have sinned...)
2. I repent of sin and ask Your forgiveness and freedom from eternal death.
(I repent...)
3. I believe Jesus died and arose from the grave to forgive my sins and restore relationship with You.
(I believe in Jesus...)
4. By faith I invite Jesus Christ into my heart and life. From now on I want to live in a loving relationship with Jesus.
(I receive Christ as my savior...)
Here is some scripture from the Book of John regarding the receiving of Jesus Christ as your saviour:
"But as many as received Him (Jesus), to them He (God) gave the right to become the children of God, even to those who believe in His name."
John 1:12
